About Yilan Chair Design Competition
“The main idea of Yilan Chair Design Competition is the policy of ‘Green Culture Creativity / Forest Aesthetics’ and the hospitable habit of Yilan resident. The design idea should start from the land of Yilan and end up with a comfortable children chair.”
Thanks to the rich forest resources of Cilan Mountain and Taiping Mountain, Yilan has a great reputation of beautiful landscape. For Yilan’s unique natural environment, once again we are looking for a harmony relationship between Yilan people and forests. By organizing the design competition about the beauty and value of woods, we also hope to develop forest-related industry and upgrade the traditional wood industry.
