STEP

01

Anchor 1
Finish online registration and get the serial number
Deadline |   June26, 2014 , 24:00 (GMT+8:00)

 

  • Fill the online registration form at official website and you will get a serial number.

  • Each work should be registered and get serial number separately.

  • The serial number of your work will be mailed in 24 hours after the registration (weekend is not included). If you did not receive the Serial number, please contact: ycd.award@gmail.com.

Work submission of document and Data Disc
Deadline |   June 27, 2014 to July 4, 2014 , 17:00 (GMT+08:00)

 

  • All participants are required to send registration documents (see the following instruction of A, B, C ) in an envelope by registered mail or personal delivery to: Room N302, 3F, No.21, Sec.1, Minsheng East Road, Taipei 10451, Taiwan, Yilan Chair Design Competition Executive.

B Work Information

  1. Work description form(Annex 3

  2. Work images(Saved in Data Disc)

  • Hand script and computer graphic in 2D or 3D are both acceptable.

  • Including product title, design concept and creativity. Showing the Yilan elements, direction, material… etc., and display the completely the front view, side view, appearance, proportion and size (cm) with 3D diagrams or plan.

  • Every work can provide utmost 3 images. (1200*900 pix, 72dpi, jpg format. Size of each image should be less than 1MB.)

  • Please name the images as: WorkName_Number.jpg  (ex: Chair_1.jpg)

  • Any words, symbols or marks that may influence judging (such as the signature of the existing brand LOGO, etc.) are not allowed to show on the graphics or the work itself. Text and pictures including pornography, violence or infringement are not acceptable by the organizer.

 

​C Data Disc

  1. Electronic document

  • Content: work description form (Annex 3) and work images.

  • Please write your serial number and Product title on the disc clearly.

  • Saved in CD-ROM or DVD-ROM format. Please test the disc before sending out, the organizer is not responsible for any cause problems if the documents are unreadable.

  • Please packaging the disc with registration documents properly, the organizer is not responsible for any damage during the transportation.

  • The disc will be the backup document for the organizers and judgers.

Preliminary Selection 
during July 10, 2014 to July 15, 2014.

Finalists Announcement
before July 16, 2014.

 

  1. The result will publish on official website, Facebook page and Yilan County Government Cultural Affairs Bureau website. Organizers will also contact the finalists by email or phone call.

  2. There will be 25  FINALIST WORKS.

  3. All the works of finalists can also exhibit in 2014 International Children's Folklore & Folkgame Festival and contend for Best Popularity Award.

Deadline for Final Selection submission
Deadline |   August 19, 2014 to August 22, 2014

 

  • All participants in final judging are required to send two mockups by registered mail or personal delivery to: No.96, Sec. 1, Chunjing Rd., Luodong Township, Yilan County 265, Taiwan, Yilan County Cultural Affairs Bureau - Luodong Cultural Working House, Miss Chan.

  • Please note: due to official time of Luodong Cultural Working House, please deliver your submissions before 17:00 (GMT +08:00) during the period.

 

 

D Final Selection submission

  1. Mockups (2 pieces) 

  • Please submit the precision mockups in 1:1.

  • The designers of the nominated works will be supported by organizer with NT$8,000 (approx. US$265) as mockup fee.

 

 

Please note

 

  1. Qualification review: judge by the registration document (A. Registration Document) and work information (B. Work Information). If any of them violates the regulations, the participant will lose the qualification.

  2. Please double check before the submission. The organizer has the right not to adopt the application if the documents are irregular, fake or incomplete.

  3. Participants need to afford the postage of preliminary, the freight and the transportation fee of final selection.

  4. Please pack the product properly. Make sure the container is firm and solid and put some buffer material as well. The organizer is not responsible for the damage during transportation.

Final Selection
August 23, 2014 

 

  1. Participants need to prepare a presentation in 5 minutes to introduce the work personally. (the Product title, design concept, design details, etc.)

  2. The location of judging and announcement of final result will be announced further.

  3. Award Announcement will be announced further.

  4. Award Ceremony and Exhibition will be announced further.
