Open Call

1.Design the chair with Yilan elements

  (Note: Yilan elements include figurative colors, shapes, crafts and skills, totems, texts, and symbols  related to      Yilan; and abstract elements such as Yilan’s local history, local spirit, cultural values, and attitude towards life.)

2. Correspond to the annual theme. Chairs should be designed for children

 

Entry Requirements

1. Suitable for children from age 4 to 12. Can be seated by one or more children.

2. Educative and entertaining.

3. Design the size, structure, and material with children’s safety in mind.

4. Material

• Main material should be natural material (wood, bamboo, or vine).

• Recycled and environmentally friendly materials can be used as collocatioQuantity of work

5. Quantity of work

• Individual participant/team can submit unlimited number of works.

• The design should be “a single piece of furniture;” do not submit a series or collection of chairs.
